There is no life without RNA. Once considered a simple messenger, RNA is now recognized as a key regulator of cellular function and gene expression. At MAGE Lab, we investigate how RNA-binding proteins control RNA maturation, transport and translation, and how disruptions in these processes contribute to diseases such as cancers and neurodegenerative diseases. By combining molecular biology, advanced imaging and in vivo models, we aim to uncover the mechanisms that shape RNA biology and human health.
MAGE Lab investigates how RNA-binding proteins regulate RNA metabolism and cellular function. Our research is structured around three interconnected themes that collectively advance our understanding of RNA biology in health and disease.
